The war between Iran and Israel lasted 12 days.

Iranian police announced Sunday the arrest of an Israeli Mossad agent in the Tehran Metro.

A police spokesperson stated, "A Mossad agent was arrested at a Tehran metro station. He was involved in manufacturing small drones in western Tehran province and collecting reports on the country's air defense performance through contact with an internal network."

The spokesperson added, "This individual also sent precise and detailed locations of sensitive areas and was apprehended by the intelligence organization of the capital's police."

Following US and Israeli military strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, the post-truce period shows no clear signs of de-escalation or a swift return to negotiations. Instead, it has revealed a different kind of escalation: a covert intelligence war waged beneath the surface of public events, amidst thick fog of suspicion, security breaches, and an ongoing struggle to win the war without declaring it.
